Sign in to Gaggle with Google, Apple or email, create an account, and sign in from Home, Profile or onboarding.
Sign in and create an account
You need a Gaggle account to store your flights, equipment and settings. Until you sign in, Gaggle runs as a guest. A guest can look around, but features that need an account ask you to log in. Subscribing or restoring a purchase also asks a guest to sign in first.
Where to sign in
- Home: while you are a guest, a card titled Experience all of Gaggle appears. Tap Log In.
- Profile: open your Profile tab, tap the gear icon and tap Sign In. This row shows only while you are a guest.
- Onboarding: new pilots are asked to sign in after the equipment step, before recorder setup. Spectators sign in right after choosing Spectator. See Onboarding.
All three open the same welcome screen, which says Welcome to Gaggle! and asks how you would like to continue.
Choose how to sign in
- Sign in with Email: opens a sheet where you enter your email address and continue. Use it to sign in with an existing email account or to create a new one. On the web it opens as a dialog. Tap the X to close the sheet.
- Google: sign in with your Google account.
- Apple: sign in with your Apple account.
- Sign in with competition code: shown only in the mobile app, not on the web. It is for competition devices that an organiser has set up. See Competition devices.
Below the buttons, Gaggle shows that by continuing you agree to the Terms and the Privacy Policy.
When you sign in, Gaggle takes you back to where you started, for example to the next onboarding step.
Create an account
You do not need a separate step. Sign in with Google, Apple or email. If the account is new, Gaggle creates it and keeps your flights, equipment and settings under it.
Use the same sign-in method on every device. A different method creates a different account, which can look like missing flights or a missing subscription.
Sign out
- Open your Profile tab and tap the gear icon.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Sign Out.
After you sign out, Gaggle returns to Home as a guest. It also clears the maps and images it saved on the device. Sign in again to get your data back. To sign in again, use Sign In in the same place.
