Group Flights

Browse the flights shared with a group or meetup by day or month, filter by pilot, open a flight, and manage flights as an admin.

Group Flights

Group home > Flights

The Flights section lists the recordings pilots have shared with a group, a meetup or a competition. Open it with the plane icon in the section row at the bottom of the group home.

In a plain group, only members see this section. In a meetup or competition, anyone can open it.

What the list shows

Flights are listed newest first. A plain group groups them by month. A meetup or competition groups them by day.

Each flight card shows:

  1. the pilot’s photo and name
  2. Max Alt, Distance and Duration
  3. a map image of the track

Tap the card to open the recording. Tap the pilot’s photo or name to open their profile.

If nobody has shared a flight yet, the list reads No Flights.

Find a pilot’s flights

At the top of the list:

  1. Type a name in Search to narrow the pilots.
  2. Tap a pilot’s photo to show only their flights.
  3. Tap the photo again to show everyone.

Spectators are not listed, because they have no flights.

Load more flights

The list loads one page at a time. Tap Load More at the bottom to see older flights.

Several recordings of one flight

In a competition, one flight can have more than one recording, for example from the app and from a tracker. The list shows one card for the flight, with the official recording first.

The card also shows how many candidate recordings there are. Tap it to open Candidate recordings. The official one is marked Official. Tap a recording to open it.

Admin tools

These tools are only for group admins.

  • Download: on a meetup or competition, an admin sees a download button on each flight card. It saves the flight as an IGC file, or opens the share sheet on a phone.
  • More (three dots) on each flight card:
    • Rerun Scoring schedules scoring again for that flight. A message confirms that it was scheduled.
    • Unlink Flight asks Are you sure you want to unlink this flight from the group? Tap Unlink to confirm or Cancel to keep it.

Remove a flight that should not be there

Use Unlink Flight when a flight is invalid or was shared by mistake. The flight is removed from the group and from its leaderboards.
