June was a busy month at Gaggle, we introduced some big features and squashed over 100 bugs!
New Features
- Airspace advisories: Spot FAA NOTAM-backed advisory areas faster, filter what matters to your flying, and optionally help approved drone operators with anonymized advisory signals.
- Competition leaderboard management tools: New section for competitions, that shows real time scoring, live leaderboards, and pilot management.
Other Improvements
- Challenge UI improvements for partner logo visibility.
- Use correct profile name in challenge leaderboard.
- Additional visual improvements to recording replay when viewed with an obstacle course.
- Allow negative altitude displays, when flying below sea level.
- Add recorder traffic size setting.
- Add route planner bearings, so pilots can see the bearing from a selected waypoint to the next.
- Add optional organizer-controlled task windows to obstacle-course leaderboards.
- IGC import improvements, especially when importing large files.
- Spectator live tracking now keeps the device display awake while the viewer is open.
- Add help descriptions to the scoring method setting in the leaderboard task configuration flow.
- Improved web map tile loading.
- Hide bottom navigation bar when scrolling on all root pages.
- Improve recording persistence and restore from backups, specifically on long flights.

- Fix obstacle course replay score that should reset when pilot abandons course.
- Fix AIR3 tablet compatibility.
- Fix weather forecast failing to load if certain pressure values were missing.
- Fix certain airspaces polygons not rendering as expected.
- Fix the rain radar overlay disappearing on normal site-map zoom levels.
- Fix bug where personal airspaces were showing up in the official airspace list.
- Fix the replay overlay score for obstacle-course challenge flights where the stored score and replay score diverge.
- Fix KML export bucket edge cases.
- Fix crash when location services are disabled during recorder startup.
- Fix web email sign-in redirect.
- Fix shared links opening the app without routing.
- Fix personal airspace audio cues that would sometimes be skipped.
