Conversations

Open your conversation list, jump into pilot, group, and site chats, and understand current message access.

Conversations

Profile Page > Conversations

Use Conversations to chat with pilots, groups, and flying sites.

You can open this screen from:

  1. Profile > Conversations
  2. The chat icon on Home

Conversations

On this page you will see your conversation list with:

  1. Pilot, group, or site name
  2. Last message preview
  3. Last message date
  4. Unread indicator (red dot)

Tap any row to open that conversation. If you blocked a pilot, your private chat with them stays in the list. It opens with a notice that you blocked them.

If you have no active conversations yet, you will see: No conversations yet…

Chat with one pilot

A private chat is a one-to-one conversation with another pilot.

  1. Open a pilot’s profile and tap Message, or tap their row in your conversation list. Messaging needs the Frequent Flyer or Adventurer plan. See Profile.
  2. Type in the box at the bottom and send. Only the two of you see the messages.
  3. Tap the bell at the top right to stop alerts for this chat. Tap the crossed-out bell to get them again.
  4. Tap the bin at the top right (Delete Chat) to remove the chat. Gaggle asks you to confirm. It deletes your messages in the chat and removes it from your list. The other pilot’s messages stay on their side.
  5. To stop a pilot from messaging you, long-press one of their messages and tap Block User.

The chat opens with the pilot’s name at the top. Group and site chats work the same way for sending and alerts. See Group Chat.
