Account details

Change your name and photo, adjust Stats Override, and update your sign-in email.

Account details

Profile > Settings > Account

You can also open this screen by tapping your own photo on your profile. It is titled Account.

Change your name

  1. Tap your name, or the pencil icon beside it.
  2. Type the new name. It needs at least 3 characters.
  3. Tap the check icon.

Change your photo

Tap your photo, pick a new image and crop it. The new photo shows on your profile and in the app.

Stats Override

Stats Override has two values, Flights and Flight Time. The screen says to change the values to add to the calculated stats.

  1. Tap the Flights value, or the Flight Time value.
  2. Enter a number. Flight time is in minutes.
  3. Tap Save.

Emergency Contact

Opens the emergency contact panel. See Emergency contacts.

Update Email

Update Email shows only if you sign in with an email and password.

  1. Tap Update Email.
  2. Enter the new address in Email and tap Save.
  3. If Gaggle asks you to sign in again, enter your password to verify your account.
  4. Open the link Gaggle sends to the new address.
  5. Sign in again with the new address.

If the link does not work, Gaggle shows the message Something went wrong while updating your email. Please try updating it again from the account settings. Repeat the steps above to get a new link.

If you open an old Gaggle link, Gaggle shows This link is no longer supported. Please obtain a new link and try again. Ask the sender for a new link.

Gaggle can open links from outside the app.

  • Email change link: opening the link from your new address finishes the change and takes you to the sign-in screen. Sign in with the new address. If it fails, Gaggle shows the error message described above. Request a new link from Update Email.
  • Licence link: if you are signed in, Gaggle asks We detected a license key. Would you like to activate it now? Tap Activate New Subscription to unlock the subscription linked to the key. If you already have an active store subscription, Gaggle asks you to cancel it before activating the key. If you are not signed in, sign in first. If you see We couldn’t validate this license key right now or it has been used already. Please contact support at [email protected]., contact support.
  • Old link: see the message above.

Delete Account

Delete Account starts account deletion. See Account deletion.
