Profile
Search Visibility decides whether other pilots can find you in community search.
- Everyone: your profile shows in community search.
- Private: your profile is hidden in community search.
Recordings
- Share Location: who can see your location in real time while you fly. Choose Private, Close Friends, My Groups or Everyone. If you choose My Groups, tick the groups that can see you.
- Share Recordings: who can see a flight recording after you land. It has the same four choices.
- Share with drone operators: approved drone operators can receive anonymised advisory flight activity while you fly. With Everyone this is on automatically. With Close Friends or My Groups you can switch it on or off. With Private it is off.
Close Friends are the followers you marked as friends. See Friends and followers.
Emergency alerts need your location to be shared. See Emergency contacts.
Users
Open Blocked Users to see who you blocked. The row shows the number of blocked pilots.
- Tap a pilot in the list, then UNBLOCK, to let them see your activity and live location again.
- Under Recent observers, you see who recently viewed your live location. Tap a pilot to block them. Blocking stops them seeing your live location and activity in future, and removes them from your followers.
You can also block a follower from your followers list.
In a direct chat, open a pilot’s message menu and tap Block User. They can no longer message you. The chat shows a notice that you blocked them. They are added to Blocked Users, where you can unblock them.
